Host & Founder
Lynessa Layne is a certified copy editor, a formatter/graphic designer, a USA TODAY bestselling, award-winning author of romantic suspense with over 35 book signings and attended events under her belt.
She thrives on meeting readers, aspiring writers, authors, and people from all walks of life. Lynessa loves joining her passion for the writing world with her favorite towns in the United States.
Creating an inclusive, family-friendly environment for all attendees is very important to her. She has a passion for serving others and bringing joy to those around her.
A.J. Layne
Co-host / Co-founder
A.J. Layne has a BA in Public Relations & Advertising from the University of Texas with an organizational management certificate from Harvard Business School.
He is a former Staff Writer and Editor-in-Chief of Panorama Magazine, a once-upon-a-time Account Executive for a top 10 private firm in Washington D.C. and pro baseball community relations director.
After 24 years of service in the military, A.J. retired as a LCDR for the U.S. Navy where he took post as a Manufacturing & Reliability manager.
Now retired from his civilian job, too, A.J. pours himself into organizing and co-hosting book conventions with Lynessa, managing her author life as her personal assistant, and, in his spare time, co-writes fiction novellas.
