A.J. Layne
Co-host / Co-founder
A.J. Layne has a BA in Public Relations & Advertising from the University of Texas with an organizational management certificate from Harvard Business School.
He is a former Staff Writer and Editor-in-Chief of Panorama Magazine, a once-upon-a-time Account Executive for a top 10 private firm in Washington D.C. and pro baseball community relations director.
After 24 years of service in the military, A.J. retired as a LCDR for the U.S. Navy where he took post as a Manufacturing & Reliability manager.
Once forcibly retired from a job-site injury, A.J. took on TropiCon's behind the scenes organizational management to keep his sanity during the rehabilitation until he was cleared to return to work 2 years later. Now, he's trained Lynessa to take the reins and helps her navigate the complexities of TropiCon's management when she's not actively hosting.
