Yup, you read that correctly.
TropiCon's Booklover's Festival in Katy, TX is TropiCon's lighter, one-day book expo without Thirsty Thursday or Fangirl Friday events.
Why?
Now that the hosts have kicked their boots off in their new home town near Katy, TX this event is Lynessa and A.J.'s way to bring their passion for book shows to their new community of fellow book lovers & book clubs, while also giving another platform to the talented authors in the Houston area as well as others from all around the country. After all, a reader can never have too many books, nor can they have too many favorite authors.

Q: But, will you ever host a full TropiCon Book Expo & Writing Convention in Texas?
A: Yes, if we have enough turn out at Katy and enough requests to shift to the full-scale 3-day TropiCon.
Q: The banner says Nov 14th. Didn't it used to say this was a two-day event?
A: Yes, but due to unexpected renovations at The Courtyard, the original venue, we moved the event to Aloft instead. Because Friday was complimentary at The Courtyard, we were doing a two-day event, but Friday at Aloft was over budget, so we cut back to Signing Saturday.
Q: Will you ever host a full-scale TropiCon Book Expo & Writing Convention anywhere else in Texas that isn't Katy?
A: Yes, if we think a location is suited for authors and readers to attend safely while avoiding over-saturated areas where book shows are already hosted.
